Soho Warriors x Chrystie NYC

Soho Warriors x Chrystie NYC Collection Celebrates Team's 10th Anniversary. Strengthening transatlantic relationships, Soho Warriors FC and Chrystie NYC have come together to create a collaborative capsule collection. The release is rooted on a powerful pair of home and away jerseys, and is supported by a number of complementing pieces that all come together to mark the 10th year of this creative football club.

Based out of East London, the Soho Warriors Football Club were formed in 2010 becoming the first creative football club in England, and now, on the year of their 10th anniversary and in celebration of that feat, they have joined forces once more with Chrystie NYC for a collaborative capsule collection. The collection is centred around the new home and away jerseys, with the red and white pulled directly from the club’s colours. For the away shirt’s blue and black, there’s a references to the Albion pub, an iconic post match boozer. The classic check pattern was inspired by an old Coventry away shirt from the 90’s, a favourite of the Soho Warriors.

The collection was an amalgamation of creative efforts by members of the team. Designer Jack Sharples created the link type, inspired by the chunky chain on the Haggerston Park gates. Illustrator and co-founder of the SWFC Chris Dent created the Warrior illustration embroidered on the hoodies - the illustration nods to FNL, the night the Warriors play. Finally, type designer Josh Doherty created a bespoke black letter ‘X’, a reference to the club’s 10th anniversary this year.
